Ebay and Firearms/Reloading related Items

DID YOU KNOW?

Because all types of hunting
sports are seasonal and most people gear up for these different sports
several weeks prior to opening day, anyone who was buying reloading
supplies, barrels, magazines and such off of EBAY's Auction site are in
for a big surprise this year....

There are still lots of folks out there who do not know EBAY has CHANGED THEIR "FIREARMS, WEAPONS AND KNIVES POLICY"
AGAIN!...and now you can no longer buy bullet tips, brass casings and
empty Shotgun shells, barrels, slides, cylinders, magazines, firing
pins, trigger assemblies, etc. The Folks shopping for these type items
were left with no place to go shop for that "great deal" ESPECIALLY a
site that was specific to reloading supplies and the outdoor sportsman.

I still do not understand Ebay's decision to prohibit the
listing of reloading equipment and certain firearms parts....I do
however understand that this was spawned from EBAY learning that some
items (Magazines) purchased on eBay may have been used in the tragedy
at Virginia Tech in April 2007, and that this is THEIR
decision.....does this mean that if someone buys a car off of EBAY, and
runs over some folks, they will ban the sale of automobiles on their
site????....I think not.....but this is another topic I do not care to
get started on.
